Year 2000 and American Febo Enterprises
Well, the Year 2000 moment of truth has passed, and we all survived... but for historical interest, I'll leave this page up a bit longer.
American Febo Enterprises is pleased to announce that Releases 1.3.0 and 1.2.8 of LitPan2000, its award-winning litterbox management utility, are fully Year 2000 compliant. Among the many new features in Release 1.3.0 are an advanced odor processing algorithm...
No, wait. This is supposed to be serious. I'm sorry; I'll start again.
In my professional life, I spend a lot of time dealing with legal issues relating to Year 2000. This page includes some materials I've prepared, as well as links to a number of Y2K-related sites. This isn't intended to be a complete collection of links, but hopefully it will serve as a good jumping-off point.
Here are chapter materials and a PowerPoint slide show from the presentation I gave at the University of Dayton School of Law "Computer and Cyberspace Law" seminar on June 5, 1998.

Here are links to a number of law-related Year 2000 sites.
www.year2000.com is the starting point for any Y2K information search. Worthwhile articles found there include www.year2000.com/y2klawcenter.html, a compendium of legal resources, and www.year2000.com/archive/beyond.html#legal1, a thought-provoking article on management and legal issues by Warren S. Reid and Steven Brower.
The ABA Law Practice Management Section has a Y2K page at www.abanet.org/tech/ltrc/2000/. It includes links to a number of sites and articles, although its focus is more on Y2K as a technical issue than a legal one.
Another general-purpose site, but with a European emphasis, is Systems Modelling, Ltd's Y2K page with good articles by Patrick O'Beirne. The FAQ file is a very good starting point for Y2K newbies.
www.2000legal.com by Cosgrove, Eisenberg & Kiley, P.C., also offers some good materials, including www.2000legal.com/links.htm, which is a comprehensive collection of links to articles, industry information, compliance definitions, and other useful things.
www.comlinks.com/legal/jjin1.htm is a collection of materials by Jeff Jinnett of LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae, L.L.P.
www.itaa.org/Y2Klaw.htm is useful primarily for its listing of current Y2K legislative activity and lawsuits.
www.survive-2000.com is a commercial Y2K vendor's site that focuses on PC Y2K issues, but has lots of good, general information and links.
Here, in no particular order, are links to some high-tech industry Y2K web pages.
